My 34th Birthday Get-a-way to the Big Easy
The trip began March 8th, 2007 in the Garden District. The hotel was the Garden District Hotel. (For the near future I wouldn't recommend the place. A little run-down.)
It is interesting to note that this trip was about 19 months after Katrina. As you will see, the French Quarter is in great shape and in need of tourists! Please, if you get the chance, go feed their economy. They could use all of our help!

The Garden District
The Garden District looked pretty good as well but there were some signs of the hurricane. Some businesses still have not decided to open back up. There was also a good amount of construction and renovations happening on St. Charles.
